Honfleur; Normandy

At the turn of the 20th century, Honfleur established itself as the seaside haunt of Parisian aristocracy. It quickly became a centre for music, and art and much of this tradition remains today. The town is bustling with visitors to the many galleries and restaurants, but it is the view of the harbour side with brick buildings reaching 8 or 9 storeys with sailing and fishing boats moored below which combine to make this a unique setting for this picture.
