Sagrada Familia; Barcelona

Acknowledged as one of the World’s greatest buildings famously the church itself is still being constructed and is not expected to be completed until 2026 at the earliest; 100 years after Antoni Gaudi’s death. Gaudi gave his heart and sole to the project which he worked on for 40 years up till his death. His spirituality combining with his passion for botany, and geology heavily influenced the design which although art-nouveau in style is nevertheless unique in its conception. My drawing features the front portal of the Nativity Facde.
