Empire-State-Building

Ive been a long time admirer of the Empire State Building. It probably goes back to watching Breakfast at Tiffanys as a boy when I longed to visit New York. But the view from the Rockefeller Centre roof looking down Manhattan must rate as one of the most magnificant in the World and the drama of peering through nearby rooftops to the avenues below makes it a man made geographical wonder that competes with natures finest.

This drawing started with a photo I took on the 31st December 2012 a day which went on to be a very special one and one which will live long in my memory. I hope like me you may also have special memories of New York.
